my recent ultrasound report says that there are multiple fibroids in my uterus. Moreover,my uterus is bulky and enlarged in size (112x67.1x80.0mm)with lobulated contour and shows diffuse heteroechoic myometrial echopattern with multiple hypo echoic and variegated lesions in the anterior and posterior myometrium and exophytic bulge into the anterior retro-vesical regions with the notable measuring approx.52.2x34.4mm and approx.31.5x25.5mm.Kindly give suggestions for the same.
1. Your report suggest that you have a bulky uterus with multiple uterine fibroids in the uterine myometrium. 2.The size is quite a large, with lobulated contour due to presence of fibroids / lesions. 3.Heteroechoic - due to the fibroids, the normal echo pattern is lost. 4.There is an exophytic bulge ( outwards growth of mass lesion from the uterine surface). 5.In the above condition the treatment of choice will be hysterectomy, either lap or open surgery. And the specimen sent for lab test to evaluate the cells. Good luck.
Hope it helps you. Wish you a good health. Anything to ask ? do not hesitate. Thank you.
